('Trondheimsvertene' means 'Hosts in Trondheim' in Norwegian)

Trondheimsvertene is an arrangement for new international students in Trondheim, who don't get housing through SiT. Our goal is to offer international students an opportunity to live with a local family. All the students who apply for housing through Trondheimsvertene are staying in Trondheim for only a semester, or shorter.

Trondheimsvertene aims to be a stable and safe arrangement for both students and hosts involved. We offer counselling and guidance, both before, during and after the stay. We wish for Trondheimsvertene to be an enthusiastic and social group with idealistic motivations for their contributions. Everybody can be a Trondheimsvert, the most important is that you have the time and place. However, we have some small requirements:

• The student should have his/her own room
• The household should be located in Trondheim and within the range of Team-Trafikk's bus routes.

We want this to be a social experience for all parties involved, and hope all would like to participate in different social events for hosts and students throughout the semester.
