What is Trondheimsvertene?

Trondheimsvertene is Norwegian and means something like ‘student hosts in Trondheim' and is the name of our local families. Trondheimsvertene is a new project this year, and aims at solving some of the challenges international students face when they come to Trondheim to study for a short period of one semester or shorter.

For students to live with a local family has been practiced for several years in other countries, but has no special history in Norway. We think that living with a local family is a social and interesting way to get to know Norwegian culture, customs, language and people. We hope you will too!
